On marriage & being a wife::
8 Month’s:: 5 Year’s::
Hello Lovelies! Hope everyone is enjoying some time outside in the beautiful weather we have been having! Seriously I blinked and its been another two weeks, 32 weeks today! Went to the doctor this morning to check on baby girl and she was moving around like crazy! All day everyday this baby is on the move! Heard the heartbeat and all is measuring right on track! We are so anxious to meet our newest addition next month! Today also happens to be our 5 year wedding anniversary! Wow seems like just yesterday we were walking down the isle. How do we have a two year old and another one expected in 8 weeks or less! Feeling very blessed and thankful! Today I was given a great gift, the gift of freedom. Being a stay at home mom is amazing and I wouldn’t trade it for the world! However sometimes it is just easier to run into a place or have a lunch without trying to keep a toddler entertained, especially at 8 month’s pregnant! My mother in law offered to take Lydia for the day so I could go to the doctor, meet my mom for a nice grownup lunch and get a pedicure! I just got home with happy feet and started to pack, we are leaving tomorrow to take a trip with my parent’s to the Milwaukee Zoo. One last little family getaway before baby girl arrives and I get too big to move! Cory and I plan to head out to eat just the two of us this evening to celebrate before picking up Lydia! Hope you all have a fantastic weekend! Ill post another update very soon!
10 Year’s Later::
Hello! I can’t believe Christmas is only 5 day’s away! Every year I am ready with all my shopping, wrapping, baking, decorating by the beginning of December as I wait for the magical day! I love spending everyday with my sweetie, but there is just something amazing about watching the season through a child’s eyes! That being said, once we hit December not only does it mean Christmas and my Birthday are right around the corner… but also the day that Cory and I started dating wayyy back in high school! I know it may seem silly to some, once you get married your supposed to stop celebrating your “dating” anniversary. However, we celebrate the same way since our One year, dinner at Olive Garden. Yes it it extremely simple, but its a tradition and I love it! This year on December 16th we celebrated 10 years together! Wow time really does fly by! We have been through so much together. Graduating high school, apartment living (shortly), living with my parents for a month (love you mom and dad), moving into our first house, having a dog, two cats, traveling as much as we could, countless jobs, engagement, buying a new house, renovations and home improvements, marriage, and of course the birth of our daughter Lydia! I can only imagine what the next 10 plus years will bring our way! I feel so blessed to have the life I live, and he makes it a whole lot more fun!
Throwing it back to our first vacation together 3 month’s after we started dating!
Happy Wednesday Everyone! Cory and I did a fun photo shoot downtown in the beginning of June for our anniversary- A really good friend of my hubby Shawn who stood in our wedding and has also become a friend to me: takes some amazing photo’s! We were given the opportunity to work with him and I could not be happier with the way they all turned out! Lucky for me I wanted something a little more urban and not your just everyday turn to the camera and smile poses and he was perfect for the job! I won’t overload you with all the photo’s but I will share just a few with you! If you would like to see more check out his website at http://simonsayscheese.zenfolio.com/ and message him for all your photography needs!

Hey! Today is an extra special day for Cory and I… before our lovely wedding in 2013 we were high school sweethearts dating and finding our path in life… Lucky for me I was able to get introduced to Cory through a mutual friend early December of ’07 and we have been together ever since! Today marks Seven years that we have been together… time flies! I am enjoying thinking back on all the good times, the bad, the memories, the trips, the houses, everything that we have been through so far has just brought us to where we are today. We have kind of grown up together in a sense and the fact that we still are so in love and have the same ideas for our future makes me smile on the inside… how did we get so lucky as to have found each other so early in life? We have both changed so much, yet we still fit together and for that I am going to be forever thankful! I can not wait to see where our path leads us next… I love you!

First 4 Seasons Married::
So when Cory and I got married in Spring I decided we should take a photo each season for the first year… Fall came along and the colors were perfect! we went to the same park we got married and it was beautiful! Winter was a little tougher with it blowing snow and being freezing cold but we made it look good! Followed by our One year summer photo which I love taken in front of the water just before sunset! I am so grateful and lucky to have a husband who is alright with me being mildly obsessed with taking photo’s… I just love having the memories to look back on and one day we will be glad we have all of them!
